Linocut print
Inspired by the rhinos of Africa, this linocut explores the softer side of these powerful creatures. I wanted to move past their ‘armored’ reputation and show a quiet moment of love and connection.
Seeing them face-to-face in this design reminds us that even the toughest beings have a capacity for tenderness. I hope this print brings a sense of peace and a reminder of the beauty we must protect in the wild.

Lokta paper is a strong, delicate handmade paper from Nepal. It is made of the inner bark of the daphne bush found in the Himalayas and neighboring mountain ranges. Lokta paper a sustainable resource. Due to the process of printing linoleum blocks, each piece may contain minor variation. This adds to the charm of relief printing – each piece is unique.
